Update: Employee tries to invoice company $37k using calculator screenshot: 'We owe him nothing'

This employee thinks he's come up with the perfect way to get some money from a company: just invoice them with the silliest evidence ever. 

Invoices are based on trust, after all. They're usually used for contract jobs or freelance work, and unlike salaried or hourly gigs, the work is completed before the payment is arranged. For salary and hourly jobs, that paycheck shows up every 2 weeks like clockwork. But invoicing requires the contractor to send over emails and receipts in order to be reimbursed and paid, which can get tricky if there are disagreements. Like, the contractor might've quoted their employer $30k for a job, but then things happen (overtime, delays, you know the deal) and wind up invoicing $45k instead. Naturally, the employer isn't going to be happy about that, but after a few back-and-forth email exchanges, that contractor will get paid. It's a contract, so… what else can the employer do? 

However, this person shared that some guy emailed them that he was owed $37k in the funniest way possible. It looks like bro calculated this arbitrary amount on his computer, took a picture of that with his phone, then emailed that whole thing as "proof." Uh, ok pal, whatever you say…
